On July 26, 2018, more than 20 leaders from Saint-Gobain Glass's French headquarters and its Asia-Pacific sales team visited the Zhenchen Road factory of Shanghai Haojing Glass. Mr. Lin Jiang, chairman of Haojing Company, led the foreign trade and marketing teams in receiving and accompanying the visitors throughout their inspection. Saint-Gobain Group entered the Chinese market in 1985. Today, its solutions are widely used in various markets, from automotive glass and building glass to abrasives, ceramics, refractory materials, high-performance plastics, gypsum building materials, industrial mortars, and ductile iron pipes. Haojing Glass was established in 2002 and has 16 years of experience in the glass industry.

Accompanied by staff from Haoxing's foreign trade and marketing departments, the entire Saint-Gobain Asia-Pacific sales team braved the 36-degree Celsius heat of summer to thoroughly inspect Haoxing's production workshops, and various production processes. Led by Mr. Wang Xiangyang, the sales director of the foreign trade department, the visitors followed the designated route, from the raw material workshop to the finished product workshop. At each stage, they stopped to carefully inquire and exchange information. The entire visit demonstrated the professionalism and seriousness of the Saint-Gobain and Haoxing Glass teams; The visit focused on Haoxing Glass's core technology production workshops, and bent tempered glass production workshops. They were full of praise for the 15mm thick, 1580mm radius of curvature bent tempered glass being produced, carefully inspecting each piece that came off the line, and inquiring about detailed parameters. After the factory tour, everyone gathered in the conference room. Mr. Wang Qingsong, Director of the Marketing Department, presided over and gave a presentation. He began by extending a warm welcome to Mr. Paul, the leader from Saint-Gobain Glass's French headquarters, and all members of the Asia-Pacific sales team. He then gave a presentation, reviewing the over 10 years of close strategic cooperation between Saint-Gobain and Haoxing, expressing gratitude for Saint-Gobain’s support, and highlighting how their collaboration had improved Haoxing’s management and fueled its rapid growth. Mr. Wang Qingsong then introduced the company's processing capabilities and core product technology advantages, as well as Haoxing Group's future investment plans, new factory construction, and successful joint projects with Saint-Gobain. During the case study sharing, Mr. Wang Qingsong presented several examples, including the Huzhou Sheraton Hot Spring Hotel, the Jiangsu Grand Theatre, the Harbin Concert Hall, and the Fuzhou Strait Culture and Art Center, all challenging projects. Mr. Zhang Yu from Saint-Gobain Glass China, and Mr. Wang Xiangyang, the sales director of the foreign trade department, detailed the Bosch project and the Manila Zuellig project in the Philippines, explaining the technical difficulties encountered and how the projects were successfully completed, with zero complaints; they were considered model projects.

During the meeting, Mr. Paul, Saint-Gobain Glass's Global Sales Director, gave a speech. Following this, Ms. Lois, Saint-Gobain Glass's Asia-Pacific Sales Director, summarized the meeting, expressing Saint-Gobain’s gratitude for Haoxing’s thoughtful arrangements and hospitality, calling it a pleasant trip. They were very impressed by Haoxing’s product quality and processing capabilities, particularly its single-curve bent tempered glass, multi-curve bent tempered glass, laminated glass processing capabilities, and digital printing enamel glass. Haoxing is Saint-Gobain Glass's only designated long-term strategic partner in China, and they hope to strengthen cooperation on future projects, and look forward to the completion and commissioning of Haoxing Group's new factory.
